can't find it in canada (checked a few places) and i only see a small newsletter type preview on his website.

his previews aren't overly insightful but fun to read.... also, a good data source (returning starters, ats logs etc.)

not that they've been overly good in past years, but curious as to his most improved and least improved teams this year.

He has the same type of magazine that he has had for the past 15 years. You will probably have to order it through him, as he has joined the ranks of others trying toneckel and dime the consumer by charging a ridiculous price for shipping and Handling. If you are in Canada, the price should be$12.95, but you will probably end up near $20.00 after the S/H charges.

Mark Lawrence is a tout who is a smart businessman. Of the 9,500 out there who want to take you to the betting promise land, Lawrence is a pro and in my experience someone who tries to be above board. On average, I can throw darts and beat his college picks where you will pay a grand for the privilege. NFL, different story, he's better than most with the pro league.

I purchase ever rag I can get my hands on each season...his is one of them.

This year's Playbook mag content is very similar to last year with one page per team both college and pro sections. I like the format of it being in alphabetical order to quickly thumb to a team to look at their schedule and stat history while not having to reference a table of contents or internet search. I don't think he has a most improved team list, but rather lists projected top ATS performers this season as: App St., Baylor, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Temple.

Has anyone ever subscribed to his weekly newsletter? Apparently you get a free digital copy of the preview mag with the newsletter.

I have known Mark Lawrence for 15 years now. His biggest secret is his ability to stay one step ahead of the other touts by offering a product that no one else offers. When Jim Feist, folded up his rag, Lawrence took over, posting 10 year results for every college and pro team. He also get some nice advertising money from 23 other touts that advertise, one way or another, in his rag. He is strictly a technical handicapper. The one thing I would caution all of you is to check his facts. His proof readers leave something to be desired. Example: He has Alabama at 8-0 as a non-con favorite of 28 or less points. Last season Alabama failed to cover their season opener against West Virginia as a 22 point favorite. The important point being that Alabama is 0-1 in their most recent game under these conditions. He claims that Arizona is 8-1-1 in their last 10 games as double digit home dogs. They were not double digit home dogs last season. In 2013, they defeated Oregon outright as an 18.5 home dog. In 2012, they defeated Oklahoma State outright as a 10.5 point dog. In 2011 they lost to Oregon as a 15.5 point dog. They did not qualify in 2010, and 2009. So in reality, Arizona is 2-1 since 2008, some 7 seasons ago, and a meaningless stat. There are others, but I will leave that to you to find out.
