Dallas would get destroyed in a playoff game in Chicago in January...

Like Carolina did last year? Any team that plays Chicago is going to put a ton of pressure on Grossman, I'm not sure how he'll handle it.

G-Men haven't been mentioned

IF ... they can get their key players' back by Week 15 or so,don't be surprised if they make some noise in the Post-Season.

Toomer's absence has shaken up Manning (especially)& the O, a lot more then most people think. He was Eli's go-to-guy on third down.

I honestly believe that they'll make their way to at least the Final 4 in the NFC ..

IF, they're healthier by Christmas.

What I picked up on in watching the Jets/Bears game is that Grossman's new role may very well be to not lose the game ala Dilfer and the Ravens.
He did a good job in what appeared to be that role last Sunday.

It will be interesting to see if that will be the case against the Pats. If so, he may be reigned in and that might be the trend the rest of the way.

Which then begs the question can a reigned in Grossman and the Bears D beat the unreigned Philip Rivers and "Touchdown" Tomlinson. Right now my guess is probably not.

NFC teams ahead of Dallas:

Chicago
Carolina
Seattle
New York
I agree with this list assuming the starters for New York and Seattle return soon and are in good form.

Would not surprise me in the least to see TB win tommorrow..............or get blown out by 40.

I believe the last two times they played the Cowboys got blown out by about 17 each time.

Beware Dallas coming out flat tomorrow and making this game harder than it should be. A very common occurance is teams the week after having a big game can have a letdown and come out flat and take a while to get going, if they do at all. Dallas were pumped up for the Colts last week and played accordingly, and I wouldnt be surprised if they struggle a little.

Case in point. Look at the performances of both the Colts and the Patriots the week after they played each other two weeks ago. The Colts struggled to beat Buffalo at home and the Patriots got beaten at home by the Jets.

homer but I'm right

Dallas is the team to beat in the NFC...doesn't mean they are the best at all...I think one could write a book about who is the best. But Dallas is the team to beat! Yes.

I'm not on the game at all and I don't advocate a side here, BUT....it has been three days between the last game and this game. Honestly, Dallas has good defense and that matters more than anything. I believe they are probably still wired from the last game (colts) and will be like they are playing the fifth thru eighth quarters of the last game. I'm not joking. I bet they come out firing. IF IF IF I were to bet I would take Dallas in the 1st half. I'm not and don't blame me if it loses. My money is better placed elsewhere.....just my opinion and lean.

good luck.

Romo and Dallas will not be able to win in Chicago in January. Bears will shut the run down and force Romo to go up against the 21st century version of the Monsters of the Midway and he will get ate up alive. Their only chance would be Grossman having one of his meltdowns.

And you're not betting on a Grossman meltdown over a Romo meltdown? Have you WATCHED either of these teams this year?

I definitely think the cowboys have a top 5 defense, and they are starting to play there best ball right now, they will be very tough to beat as long as Romo stays healthy.
