They would be wise to run the score up huge and maybe move ahead of TCU in the voters minds. Thoughts?

With everything in the media related to the Baylor program, they should just concentrate on taking care of business and not worry about TCU. With respect to TCU, all they wanted to do was get out with a "W". Kiln and GP are best of friends having worked together under Fran. So much so that besides the past 2 years when they have played, they bring the other down to scout their teams and provide constructive feedback to improvement. Obviously that stopped prior to last year since they were going to be playing. I would not put too much into what you saw last night other than Minny has a pretty salty defense and the B10 West should take notice. Might add that despite losing all that talent on defense, TCU still sat their top 2 players on defense and played pretty well

TCU played like the sharps expected them to. They won, but they are NOT the same team that they were last season and will NOT win the Big 12. Okie State also looked bad against a middle of the road to poor Mac West team. The Big 12 had better get it's act together, and Baylor knows this.

Baylor starting DE and team leader Oakman suspended for tonight's game along with Baylor starting CB Orion Stewart. The TCU game has nothing to do with this game. The only thing that is going to count is when these two teams meet at the end of the season. And that may not even count...

If the Big 12 plays like it did last night, it will not count. We can agree on that. But if you really think that TCU's performance last night will not affect Baylor, I suggest you think again. Favorites to win the conference who play like that against 6-6 teams effect EVERY team in that Conference when the votes are cast. We really do not have to go over this again, do we? I believe that both of us think that TCU was over-rated coming into the season. I know I thought so, and stated that. I think Baylor wins the Big 12. TCU? With games at Kansas State and BOTH Oklahoma's, who knows?

votes dont matter until December. these early games will be long forgotten by then. if Baylor wants to impress voters, they need to sweep the Big12(-2) including beating TCU

You really think Minny is a 6-6 team? Especially in the Big10 West with 13 returning starters. Also TCU sitting their top 2 defenders? Baylor will light up SMU because SMU is not talented right now and there are several 6A high schools who could beat SMU right now. SMU is really in a big rebuilding mode and because of their academic standards they can't get Juco kids into the school. Also, based on the traffic downtown this afternoon at lunch, it'll be 80-20 Baylor crowd tonight. But that's the case any time other Texas schools come into Dallas to play SMU.

All based on one game...
