Does Barry Bonds have a case of collusion against MLB and sue them?

Hard to imagine there isn't one MLB team that can use Barry Bonds in their lineup. We all know his career stats but in the business of sports it's more of the 'what have you done lately' approach. Take a look at his 2007 stats.

Games: 126
At Bats: 340
Hits: 94
HR: 28
RBI: 66
BA: .276
OBP: .480
SLG%: .565

With numbers like that it's hard to believe he can't help a number of teams.

There is another side to this. How many tickets would a MLB baseball team sell having Bonds on their team. There isn't one owner anywhere that would turn down increased ticket sales.

This is 100% collusion thanks to Bud Selig.
I am sure Barry Bonds and his agent are quite aware he has been blackballed and it will be just a matter of time before he files suit against MLB. And he will win.

No he won't win.
How's he going to prove collusion?
I'll bet you a nickle and give you 3:2 odds that not one of the 30 owners say squat.

Like the 5th graders say in the playground.
Prove it.

Yea, that's what they said back in the 80's and MLB ended up paying millions.

Simply b/c everyone is in agreement doesn't mean they are colluding. He is a grade A ass hole, team cancer, disruptive clubhouse presence, can't play in the field and hasn't swung a bat in anger in 11 months. He could certainly help some teams, but the baggage is too much.

Arte Moreno was on Costas Now last month and gave a political answer that amounted to him saying his is such an ass hole that he would never sign him. I imagine most owners feel the same way.

Barry needs to join the Indy league here, so I can see him play up the street with Carl Everett and the boys.
He could help my Bridgeport Blue Fish.

No denying Bonds is a head case. But as an owner of a MLB team with your team out of the playoffs and low ticket sales would it not make sense to take Bonds on at the league minimum salary?

Take a look at any MLB team posting forum or radio talk show and their all begging for their team to sign him. I would do it in a heartbeat.

Likely won't be accepted in a court as justification for restraint of trade if they can prove collusion.

And bookie, that collusion case in the 80's was like a class action suit, this is one individual, totally different dynamics.
