Does anyone take week 1 of college foots off before wagering?

Wondering if anyone uses this approach since there are no real exhibition games in college except the scrimmages to get a better feel for the squads and schemes.

My guy told me he gets more action week one that during the bowls. But them again most are broke by bowl time.

i make my biggest bets during week 1... bowl season is second biggest bets.. beyond that, not a lot of edge during the midseason

I take a completely opposite approach than this in my football wagering. There are certain conference match-ups that are set up by non-conference games, that have proved timeless over the years. I rarely even wager on bowl games. This is when Mr. Linemaker gets a little sloppy(Holidays) with his college basketball lines. Different strokes for different folks. Good Luck
