not sure about SU win but that 3.5-4 line is begging for a "6.5 ties win" teaser with them and Temple or Southern Cal...or your favorite pro game.

very rare for an 11-12-13 and 0 team to be a dog and last few times it occurred it was very ugly:

Oregon over FSU by 39
Bama over ND by what felt like 100
Bama over LSU in a shutout 21-0

I think this one will be really close so getting 10-10.5 on a teaser is what I'm looking at

I put up the bowl history site because of the nature of this game. I could be outta left field here, but in essence, these conference championship games are bowl games imo. GL, don't like this game and I'd follow RT's advice were I to play it, tease it to 10 minimum, ties win.

Interesting point but those were also much bigger spreads FSU +7.5, ND +10, but LSU was only +2.5. Also seems like MSU is an overwhelming public play whereas none of the undefeated dogs you mentioned took lopsided action (to my memory)

So lets face it.....Iowa has skated. Both teams have basically the same stats. Yet the Best Offense Iowa faced was Indiana. They faced 2 Top 50 Offenses all season. They faced 5 Top 50 Defenses. Michigan St? 7 Top 50 Offenses and 4 Top 50 Defenses. They are also #12 in Time of Possession and #4 in Turnover Margin. Didn't play Penn St, Ohio State or Michigan. How does that happen?

A lot of unknowns since they didn't play similar teams in Ohio st, Michigan and penn state like you stated. Stats and I guess SOS aside...I think they're dangerous cause of the unknowns. Kinda reminds me of Ohio State last season

Biggest thing to take out of my post is that Michigan St Defense can go toe to toe with Iowa Defense Statistically.....but the difference is that Michigan St faced 7 Top 50 Offenses, Iowa 2. I think the Spartans PLOW Iowa.
