In this age of technology, the human touch is disappearing for now. I say for now, because its making a comeback, at a price. Some companies are charging extra if you want to speak to a human. Human contact at a premium, who would have thought.
These kids that have are growing up texting, twitering and chatting will stumble on "talking on a telephone." soon and it will become the coolest thing to do. It will start accidently, when some hot senior girl will be made to talk to a boy by her mother on the phone for whatever reason. The boy will say "Wow that voice thing is hot", and put away his texting, twitering and chatting. "Who wants to text, he'll say, I'd rather talk to that voice."
We'll come full circle, watch
I agree, I think its the dumbest thing on the planet. It's a little too "self-absorbed" for me . . . you have to be a bit conceited to think your friends need to know about your every move throughout the day. I have an account but use it very rarely and none of the friends I care about are on it.
Touche my friend (<)< However, a message board is more of a place for opinions/discussion on certain subjects (usually of some interest to its users). I may very well be interested in what you have to say on a particular subject, but i just don't want to know if you are going to buy some milk at this moment or 5 mins later are taking a deuce. :lol:
