Does Anyone Here Not Eat Turkey On Thanksgiving?

The reason I ask is that my family owns a restaurant in New York and each Thanksgiving we gather there for Turkey day...

When I look at other tables, I am amazed to see the number of people who don't eat TURKEY on Thanksgiving....

I ALWAYS do because I feel it's a good tradition to follow...

What about others?

Turkey or no turkey?

I am guessing much more Turkeys in here, lol...

Yes, Turkey.. but the best part about the Turkey, is the cold turkey sandwiches the next day

yes to Turkey, but I never stuff myself until im going to explode though...not since the general shared that story about 2 yrs ago when he ate to much turkey for T day and it ..well nuff said... HOLY momma MOLY:blowup1: :ughhh:

Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, dressing, cornbread, rolls, beer and wine..........thats the usual staples year in and year out.

This year however, mostly beer and some frozen entrees.

For me Thanksgiving food revolves around cranberry sauce. Im lucky that there are Three different versions of the sauce on the table!!

And DARK Meat only for Turkey on my plate.

I like to do BBQ on Thanksgiving.

Turjey, and all the traditional good stuff. However, being that my family is of Cuban heritage, you can bet that there will be some form of lechon (pork) on the table.

No Turkey for me this year for various reasons I will not go into here.

I think though it is too filling and then you cannot eat anything else. I like the corn muffins and in the past usually ate around 20 of them and then was too full to eat much of anything else.

I would say Italian food is a good replacement for Turkey.
