No, but I have a 3-D Blu Ray . Not sure how that works, and won't find out until they set it up on Tuesday.

I do have a 3d-compatible tv, but I didn't get it for that reason. I got it because the 2d picture quality is better.

I haven't bothered getting 3d glasses because there just isn't that much 3d content available, but it's nice knowing that I won't have to upgrade my tv if I ever decide it's worth it.

These are one of those things that I believe it's best to hold off on for a while since it's so new and will likely get much better within the next 1-2 years...

All bluray players can do 3D, including PS3. I got a Panasonic 3D TV, and it came with the Avatar movie which is just as sick as it is in the theater. Only reason I got it is that the model I ordered was sold out and they upgraded me to the 3D version. I wouldn't spend money on it yet, because there's no programming. There might be one or two channels, but even the ESPN channel doesnt have full programming, they'll show many an NBA game or two a week.

Bottom line, with how fast technology changes, wait for the programming to come out before you drop the dough.

The one time I watched 3D tv, I wasn't impressed.

Don't think it will ever catch on. Probably will fade out like a lot of other technologies... (remember laser discs? video phones?)

It's starting to sound like 3d tv's were just a phase.
Production of 3d tv's has been drastically reduced over the past few months.

Last year I found a deal on Amazon offering a 55in Toshiba 3DTV 240mhz for $1499 and it includes 2 pairs of glasses and a 3d blu ray player for free. So I bought two of them. It so happens one of the TV's arrived with a cracked screen and it needed to be replaced. Well Amazon committed a boo boo and ended up crediting my card back twice. Once when the picked up the broken tv and once when the received the broken tv back into their warehouse. The blu ray players were crap so I returned them both to Amazon for a refund ($350) I have a couple of PS3's so I didn't need the blu ray players anyways. So my total for both tv's and 4 pairs of glasses was only $1100. Sweet deal!!!

The 2D viewing is great and the 3D viewing is fantastic. Some of my games like Call of Duty and such have a 3D mode as well which is pretty cool.
