You guys still do not get it, do you? First, there is no guarantee that what the books are telling you about percentages is correct. Next, it is only the percentage for THEIR book. Since Vegas books take in much more money individually than any individual Off Shore book, what the players in Vegas do is much more important. Vegas opened this at -4, and closed at -3 to 3 1/2. That is no big deal at all.
I'm fairly certain about 65% of the bets were on Utah, but I still did not play the game although I probably would have played Utah had there not been RLM based on the SOS differences. This line did actually move to -2.5 for several hours yesterday, if you want to consistently bet against line moves like that over the course of a season the odds will not be in your favor imo.
I agree. BigDaddy is a Vegas town honk that still makes special orders at McDonalds. He knows nothing about the internet books or consensus sites since he apparently doesn't use any of them. The only thing we know for sure is he has a computer. Probably one that still burns coal. As usual none of this keeps him from coming in here and telling all of us "we just don't get it." Like we listen or something...
