For 20 years I worked conventional jobs - before that I went to conventional schools - and I hated Mondays in a conventional way. But since becoming self-employed, Monday-Tuesday is the equivalent of my weekend. Mind you, I enjoy my work and Saturday-Sundays in particular are a blast - so weekends aren't as enormously thrilling as they were in the old days.

Interestingly, Saturday is still probably my favorite day of the week. Before, it was because I was off, whereas now it's my busiest day for work.

And I enjoy work enough that I'm going to work today (Monday) - just because I feel like it.

But I ramble. My simple answer to the question, does anyone enjoy Mondays? would be:

Yep. Me.

Mondays are the worst... I always have terrible Monday-hangovers after drinking like crazy Friday and Saturday. Sundays are much better - even though there is 6 days until next party night - because you are still a bit drunk from the night before so it doesn't feel that bad.

It's a bank holiday today on this side of the pond so this Monday has been just fine
