You know, you get so used to rewinding live tv, if you're not sure what someone said and want it repeated. Next thing you know, you're sitting in a meeting and the presenter says something you don't understand, and you think, "rewind." Oh, wait, I can't do that here. Or you're driving and you see a sign but don't read it, and you think, "rewind."

Happens to me all the time, the split second Tivo-itis thoughts.

I cant stand watching TV shows or even to some extent sports in real time. I'm so used to fastfowarding thru them I sit there frustrated not knowing what to do anymore when a commercial starts. I never watch a show live now, just save them. Sports I sually give a 10 minute delay or so while recording another event and flip back and forth when it catches up to real time.

As a fellow Tivo head i find myself doing that a good bit. Not usually in real life situations, but when i rarely watch regular tv.

I was also talking with someone the other day about how not ever watching commercials can sorta keep you in the dark on lots of things as well.
