Well yeah, the out of conference schedule is terrible. But when you are facing UT, UGA, Bama(OU barely get by them the last couple years), LSU and even Ark(who only lost to Texas by 4) you deserve to have a break. The fact of the matter is that OU has no buisness being in this game, and they had no business being in it last year. About 95% of the media agrees with me as well. The 5% that doesn't lives in either Norman or Austin, Tx. Nobody knows what OU has because they play NOBODY. In conference, out of conference, no schedule! It's really pathetic. The only reason OU is going instead of Auburn is the fact that Auburn was behind OU when the preseason polls came out.

Once again if OU loses, there has to be some serious changes! OU struggled with A&M(they are a complete fraud) Okie State(they are extremely one dimensional and will get waxed by Ohio st.) Texas(they are the most one-dimensional team in the country) and even struggled with Bowling Green at the beggining of the year. Auburn with their schedule struggled against NOBODY, that's right NOBODY! The BCS is a joke and I pray OU get's their butt's handed to them for the second year in a row. Last year that LSU game had 28 point blowout written all over it. If it wasn't for a couple LSU turnovers inside the redzone and a lucky punt block by OU in the endzone, that game would have been REAL ugly!

BTW... when I watched the colorado/iowa state game, to get to see who played in the Big 12 chapionship(laughing my butt off) it was like watching a 3A high school game. Neither QB could throw the ball past 10 yards on a rope. And this is considered a power conference. Cappers, Cappers... let's make this real simple, go against every Big 12 team in the bowls(stay away from Cal/T-tech though as Cal got screwed for another powerhouse team- Texas- haha and may not mentally be in the game) and you will absolutely clean up, I know I will take my own advice. Hell I put half my house on Florida ML over Florida State, I do very well at this sport. This is going to be too easy. I'm all over Kodiak's POY's, Michigan and USC, will also slam Michigan on the ML as well. Good luck

Let's not forget about OU's struggle with K-state... K-state is real good too! USC just might be my lock of the year!

think i`ll see how many points i can get up to gametime....i`ll wager a few sheckles on the buckeyes....and that those linebackers can at least control morancy....

zwick had ross at running back when he was starting early in the year....and no ginn at wr......now,he`ll have holmes and ginn.....and a better contingent of young running backs....

and figure that when ginn started playing after the first few games,he score 7 td`s....4 on punt returns...

i`ll still take `em with the much better defense,a more balanced offense and getting maybe 4 or 5 points vs the one dimensional offense....

maybe blue chipper zwick freezes....but he has much better weapons to play with now...

that`s why they call it gambling...

btw...ginn has 40 touches this year....with 7 td`s...

That non conference schedule is a disgrace. The Auburn AD is who should be shot.
The funny thing is that Auburn had a chance to get Bowling Green on their schedule but didn't want to shell out the money. So OU picked them up. And Auburn took 1AA powerhouse the Citidal. OU has scheduled at least one major football team every year for a long time now. This year it was Oregon. But when they scheduled the Ducks they had no idea how good they were going to be. And OU faces the Ducks again in a couple years at Oregon. Auburn better start doing the same thing...Come to think of it maybe they shouldn't. They got their clocks cleaned by USC last year. I don't care what the SEC fans say, Auburn doesn't have nearly as many great athletes on that team as USC and OU. The BCS got it right this year. Although I still don't care for the system.

The BCS got it right? You are in the minority. You and your 20 buddies in norman are the only ones who actually think the BCS got it right. When OU gets stomped in the Orange Bowl, I want to see you back on this thread and admit that the BCS got it dead wrong for the second year in a row. The last 2 or 3 years OU has played the bottom feeders of the SEC and barely squeaks by every time. Play somebody and then we'll talk.

Yeah but, what if OU beats USC, then what??
OBTW the linemaker may have this one upside down...
OU has more than good case here for the win.
Again as in most things time will tell.

No Tartar. I'm not the only one who thinks they got it right. The sportswriters and coaches who vote did too. It's the minority like you on this board that thinks different. Many of the coaches who've seen films of these 2 teams that we don't have access to, have said these are by far the 2 best teams. I'm going to believe somebody who knows talent before I believe a few whiners on this board. The SEC has the bighead every year thinking they have the best conference and best teams. They did last year with LSU. That's not the case this year. You had alot of teams this year in the SEC who were in a rebuilding mode like Tenn.,Ark.,Florida, Miss. and LSU lost some key players from last year. Those teams will all be better NEXT YEAR. This year there wasn't a dominate conference. Deal with it.

Hahaha... The SEC is still better than any other conference though, just like in the bowls again... SEC 3-0 last yr. vs Big 12. Trev Alberts last night(a nebraska guy) "The sec is the strongest conference this year and has been for years" said last night at the half of the cuse game. I'm not saying OU is a bad team at all, that is foolish. But, Auburn in my opinion along with the majority of the media(this is my profession, I would actually know) feels Auburn should be in this game... I'm not sure what you are looking at, but it's completely wrong. The only reason OU is going is because they were ahead of Auburn to begin the season, it's as simple as that. Once again, I hope to see you on here after this game.

Now that Smith is suspended..

I don't like this game as much either. What's wrong with these Buckeyes?

They can't stay away from trouble and controversy. What a shame.
