Does a current FOP sticker on your rear bumper help you when it comes to traffic violations?

Wondering if one has this current sticker as a donator to the FOP whether you may get cut some slack in case you have a policeman on your tail?

All I can say is an absolute no doubt about it YES!! Firsthand experience about 4 years ago or so on the way to a Husker game in Boulder in my friends car. At that time it was a window deal not a bumper sticker. We were going way over the limit and the officer noticed the sticker on the way up to the car as he had it in rear window on drivers side. Cop wrote up a warning ticket and told us to slow down a little. I will always believe it was due to the Fraternal Order of Police sticker.

Thanks my man. I donated $10 and they sent me some stickers. Can't hurt I don't guess.

the only way that helps is the cop that pulls you over thinks you're stupid.

FOP has nothing to do with the real police. I am a tout tand they are worse than me.

That makes sense to Johnny D.

But I still think it helps some, even if because the cop feels for you being suckered in

I would say to peel the FOP sticker off your grocery getter and replace it with something that reads:

"EAT $HIT AND DIE, COPPER"

...or a license plate frame that says "my other car runs over cops too"....

Should get you off with a warning everytime

Best thing you can do is own up to speeding when asked and apologize... and hope it's not the end of the month.

The donation stickers normally don't work in Florida. The one that works every time is the metal badge that the cops attach to their tag. Another sticker that works is a IAFF-International Association of Firefighters-sticker. I kept my IAFF membership active even after I just recently retired. If a policeman has a medical emergency involving themselves or co workers, they want the firefighter-paramedics to go balls to the wall for them. I will have to admit that this has saved me a couple of tickets over the years even in different states. LT
