anyone? Kershaw v Edwin? I see a 6-0 final, if not worse. Edwin can only go 5 and will give up runs, cubs pen gives up runs, Kershaw does not and going for win 20...

yep, there's a reason it's so high. To limit the damage they are about to take. His turn in rotation couldn't have come at a better time for LAD. They need a "strong" 8 innings or CG by their main man.

I don't jump on these often but when the opportunity presents itself you have to pounce.

His last 5 gems pitches/innings 110/8 89/8 108/8 109/8 103/8 all wins!! Compared to Edwins last 3 all losses. He did beat LAD 3 weeks ago but Beckett was tossin meatballs and Cubs had a totally different line up. Not today, not with SF breathing down their neck.

-290 with my local.

Assuming the Cubs lineup will include several randomly selected fans?

Christ, I like the Dodgers to win...just can't justify laying that enormous number though.

Cubs team total is 3.

The under on that is -160. Not a great number, but detinitely a cheaper way to bet on Kershaw if you're interested. He'll likely go a long way in this game, and I can't see the Cubs scoring much off him.

If any total is to be played, I would look hard at Over.

According to weather forecasts, wind will blow out to left field around 13 mph at Wrigley Field as the Chicago Cubs host the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday afternoon.

The Cubs are 2-1 straight up and average 6.33 runs per game when the wind blow out to left in the Windy City. Teams combined for better than three home runs per game under similar conditions in 2013 - well above stadium averages.

Up to -330. What the hell would the number be if this game was in LA...-500?

The wind blowing out to left is interesting. Kind of scratches my under plans since the Cubs might just be idiotic enough to find a way to score a few runs.

Something suddenly feels weird about this game. I feel like Karen in the end of Goodfellas when she gets spooked after Jimmy tells her to walk around the corner to pick out some dresses. Everything was fine at first, but now I'm running away terrified. May just wait and do a live play.

Read this in C-Notes thread. Good stuff. I'm gonna guess the Cubs weren't facing Kershaw with the 6.33. I think this favors LAD because in order for the ball to go over the wall you have to make contact first. I'm playing Dodgers alt line and Over 7.5.

Everyone is looking at this as Kershaw v the Cubs---the big ticket item everyone is forgetting about is Edwin Jackson! Dodgers can light him up and I'll say it again, once Edwin leaves in the 5th the cubs will have 4 innings of their pen that was shelled and stretched out late last night. Dodgas! Lay the $$

Also love that dodgers clinch with a win and brewers loss. Something to play for
