i just got home and i need late night action guys. not that kind of action, BASEBALL action.lol.i need opinions from everyone on this game. im leaning toward the dodgers in a must win since the padres are on a roll. thoughts?

At this point, I don't think there are any "must-win" situations(unless you're the Yankees, in which case seemingly every game is must-win nowadays).

Having said that, I like the Nats solely based on value. I got them at +136, and with Livan Hernandez on the mound, I put a unit on it just because I think that's good value. Perez has pitched well, and LA seems to be for real, but I don't like the value. Also, the Nats offense, while not scoring many runs in the series, have blown numerous opportunities with RISP this series. If they cash in tonight, they can win.

If anything I'd stay away from it. But if you have to put $ on it, I'd go with the Nats only because of the value. You could argue it either way. Perez has been great this year. But my $ is on the Nats. Those are my thoughts.

Roxy I'm going with the Dodgers on the runline tonight. -1.5 Just have a hunch here they get to Hernandez.

hardly a must win...quite a few dodgers have had success vs livan and he did throw a lot of pitches last outing. perez getting 6.5 runs per game pf support and nats hit lefties TERRIBLE. nats middle bullpen is pretty tattered. IF Livan pitches well and they can get it to carrasco or ayala for the 7th and 8th and cordero to close, nats have a chance bc imo they have a better bullpen. perez is tough so only way nats get some imo is late off the pen.. if a gun was to my head...i would play under for 1st 5.

thanks guys. by must win i only meant lady luck left the dodger bench awhile ago and they have some heat on them right now. so i know its not late september and the race is close in the nl west. i was only trying to get inside thier heads a bit. i hate sounding stupid so i had to clear that up.i will make the safe bet.thankx.
