I just don't get it. I mean Lowe would have a) grounded into a DP, b) hit into a force out at home c) popped out to the shallow outfield or d) struck out.

im so baffled sometimes by these guys...that made no sense whatsoever

D-Lowe has been there, done that before.

Stupid fuckin managers sure know how to fuck up close games. That was an amateur decision he had on his hands and he made a dumbass call.

who's the strong right-hander though? Furcal's a switch hitter too so it's not like they're going to get a rightie-rightie matchup.

Personally I would have just brought Marte in, faster, stronger arm.

Ah my bad, saw Furcal batting rightie, ASSumed he was a RH hitter. You're right.
