You gotta be kidding ! This guy hasn't been fun to watch play for about the last 5 years ! He's a guy that will send whatever team He plays for into a tailspin as all He wants to do is hotdog and his hotdog days are well in his rear view window. He causes all kind of problems on any team as He takes valuable minutes away from young players that need time to develop.

The Knicks are all about the fast break offense and Iverson does do that well. They don't really play defense.

I guess you are talking to the wrong guy ! To me a fast break offense involves passing the ball to the open man and giving assists. Today an assist to Iverson is when anyone passes him the ball ! He disgusts me !

I would love him to come of the bench for the Lakers and run the second unit for 20 minutes a night...

the man's a cancer, a crybaby and cooked.

"practice, we're talking about practice"

Hey AI, how many championships you got?

college, pro? any?

you see, champions actually practice.

AI is one of those people lucky to be born with a skill that doesn't take brains. He'd be a bum in the real world.

Not really sure it was that much about AI.

Detriot was on its way down before AI got there... The coach was an ahole and got fired. Look at them this year. They still look like shit after spending a crap load in gree agency.

Denver was winning 50+ games a year and made the playoffs with AI for 2 years.

Chauncy who was a true PG and better fit got them to win a few playoff series. But the biggest plus was Melo growing up and working harder as it been reported that he was influenced by how hard the guys on the olypmic team went. He also took unbeliveable amount of shit for never winning a series from all those same players. He came out last yearwith something to prove and played better then he ever...

Sorry. just read that denver won 45 games iverson first year and 50 his second.

2005 - 44 games won - Before iverson - Lost first round
2006 - 45 games won - AI first year - Lost first round
2007 - 50 games won - AI second year - Lost first round
2008 - 54 games won - Billup - WC finals

They were improving with Iverson before Billups got there... Billups came into a winning situation...

Det on the other hand had been on top of the conference for the last 10 years and was getting old. + they had a coach all the players hated...

This year they added Charlie V and Ben Gorden to the same team and they are looking to be a 500...

Anyway, I think AI has lost a step and adding an aging superstar on your team is not a good idea un less you can convince him to come of the bench for 20 min a night on instant offense.

He could easily go to the Celtic or Lakers and improve there second unit by a large amount.

Report: Allen Iverson Wants To Return To The NBA
Will Yoder | 09:42AM EDT 06/09/11

Former All-Star Allen Iverson wants to return to the NBA after a one-year hiatus, according to NBA.com.
"Just give me a training camp,'' Iverson told the website. "Maybe I've rubbed people the wrong way as far as saying the things I've said in my life and in my career. But if any team needs me to help try and win a championship in any capacity, I'm waiting.''
Iverson last played for the Philadelphia 76ers in February of 2010, however the former league MVP could not find a suitable offer from a team to play in the NBA this season. Iverson attempted to take his game overseas but he left his Turkish club Besiktas with a leg injury after just 10 games.
During his prime, Iverson was one of the best scorers in league history. Between 1999 and 2005 he led the league in scoring five times, averaging over 30 points scored per game four times. Despite his dominance however, he has never won an NBA title.*

Love the way he played in his prime at georgetown & Philly, probably my favorite player at the time, but he's getting a little long in the tooth now & has had his comeuppance. Youtube his football playing at Bethel High, astonishing ability!

He is going to the Heat for minimum pay just to play the role of the 6th man and a great chance at a championship.

He's a cancer and would hurt any team he went to and now at 36 the quick 1st step is a thing of the past.

Agree 100 %. His career fg percentage is only 42 %. A real team player like Magic had a career 52 % He is way over the hill.
