OK, time to make people jealous.....What I'm typing in here is 100% true.....I remarried about 10 years ago. I'd sit in the office and talk to some friends about gambling....One day my wife, who sits behind me, and looks like a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, informed me that the information I'd just quoted was incorrect. It seems she'd started collecting data and was more aware of some stats than I was.
She asked me to setup a small account for her to play with. I did. Today she has one of the largest sports databases in the land, complete with everything a MAN could want. She produces a spreadsheet complete with how teams have done that rivals other places on the net. Her theories are pure and clean. By that I mean she hasn't been poisoned with normal gambler talk. She has angles that most gamblers would never consider, including myself, but she can hold her own with any professional handicapper.....
Just a couple nights ago she told me that she was playing Toronto (baseball) against Detroit. Her logic was gambler specific. She told me that Detroit was coming off a Yankee series and that she'd actually chase Toronto if necessary, It wasn't as Toronto won the game.....So yes, she also understands normal handicapping logic.
Beautiful, young (for me, I'm 60), vivacious, a mind for numbers, love of sports, and sports research.....Man did I hit the lottery with her....Every morning when I get up, there's a spreadsheet waiting for me on my desk with a teams last 10, 20 and 30 record, last 5, 10 and 15 home and away games, early lines and some opinions on her games.....
