I think if he was trying to cover the spread, he would have thrown on the play before, and he wouldnt have wasted his last time out before oklahoma went for it on 4th down...

They simply wanted to avoid the shutout, i dont blame them as much for that as i do OK having their starters in and throwing the ball up 30 with 2 minutes to go...

I think he wanted to :finger: to Bob Stoops...he could have kicked a field goal on 4th and 5 but went for it instead...they weren't going to win...he was simply saying "back at ya!" All your fans that expected a cover just got **** on!

totally agree. Remember a couple of weeks ago when OU played Kansas and they could have taken a knee with 40 seconds left and won by 23. Instead OU passed for a touchdown to cover the 27 point spread. I believe this was a statement by Nebraska.



On side not KU got screwed by an offensive pass intereference call today late in the 4th. They should have beaten UT .. but that would have f'ed up the BCS.



Very fishy call in that game.

couldnt agree more. after auburn buried georgia, oak had to win big, and i bet callahan wasnt happy with stoop's playcalling late in the game, so he said go fock yourself
