HBK was great, agreed, Vince is great on the mic, you left out Roddy Piper, what about Edge, who's a better mic man then Jericho, Stone Cold left me hanging on ever word.

I did not leave out Piper. I still stand by my feelings that The Rock is good but not as good as the guys mentioned. Those guys could go in the ring & deliver any type of promo whether it be serious, funny, or a mixture of both off the top of their head. They were not relying on a bunch of catchphrases aimed to be cool to young kids & teens to get a pop. Cena is not even in the Rock's league in terms of promos. His promos are so over the top bad & sound so scripted. People like the ones I mentioned could make you really love or hate them within a sentence. HBK's promo in Canada a few years ago is one of his many classics.

I have to admit I forgot about Edge, a very underrated promo guy.

You know what killed WWE? No competition? WCW was poorly run but at least they provided competition for WWE during the NWO's peak. I heard interviews from Bret Hart and Chris Jericho, they said that in the WCW you didn't really go up the ladder unless you were with Hogan and all his little cronies. Bret Hart really hated his time in WCW. He was shocked at how sloppy Bischoff ran that thing. It's like nobody cared about anything unless it had to do with the Hulkster and his gang. The same idiots are now at TNA with the same has-been wrestlers doing the same thing.

If WWE had someone to fear they would have to start being good again.
