Online casinos = bad. Have never spent a dime in them. But I'm not a big casino person. I mean it's math - you are going to lose long term.

Online poker = a gold mine for the sharp player. Still can't believe so many people think it's rigged (actually I can, people always have to blame someone or something for their failures). The people who are paying their bills with it don't think it's rigged.

I'm a novice poker player @ best. ?s for POKER KING JIM & other experienced online poker players . When people worry about getting cheated in online poker is collusion between other players their main concern ? If so, how do you avoid this ? What other ways can you be cheated & what do you look for ? If it does go on , which type of spot do you have a better chance of not getting "cheated" ? Place like PARTY POKER, with so many players compared to a site with say 5% as many players as PARTY POKER ? Not saying it is rigged but thought this would be a good spot to get some good ideas & opinions .

Have you noticed how lately the ads for poker sites on the radio almost always have a disclaimer stating "___________ POKER ROOM is not a gambling site", even though "we" know there is a sportsbook & regular online casino usually tied into the same site. Do the owners of these sites think or know this makes it legal in the states ?

Lastly, if you have a website that is linked to a poker room/online casino/sportsbook & you are in their affiliate program ( your supposed to be getting a % of so-called profit each month for advertising )do your players have to lose in the poker game for you to get your ADVERTISING fees for the poker room ? Understand about the online casino part. Was under the impression that when you have people playing from your site, you got a % of each rake where your players participated . Can anyone recommend a quality, affiliate POKER ROOM\CASINO that pays a true, high % & if you do have a negative balance ( players, as a group, won that month ) at the end of the month it is not carried forward . Thank you for thoughts & input . GL

Yep, i play online casinos from time to time. Had very good success at a few of them. Roxy Palace, Bodog, Global Players is a few that i've hit pretty hard. I strongly believe that reputable casinos are 100% legit. There making tons of money and have absolutly no need to cheat. Just about every table gamers and slot player lose in the long run anyway. Its VERY, VERY rare that someone walks away from a casino table up and never returns. Its the nature of the buisness. Why would a reputable sportsbook put everything on the line and rig thier games. If the word got out, and it would, they would be ruined!! I for one would never make a sports wager with any book that was found to run a crooked casino. Because a cheat is cheat no matter how you look at it. If they cheat you out of casino money then they'll cheat you out of wager money if given the chance.

Dante, i should have made my post more clear. They HAVE gotten it back from me, and then some. I just meant i've hit then hard a FEW times. But, as human nature is, i went back, and back, and back and ended up losing the majority of my winnings. Which is typical i believe. Thats why i never believe in the "fixed" theory some posters talk about.

Dante, there's a name for that, it's called cheating.

Any place that employs any type of artificial intelligence design into their games to vary the cards based on your cards or betting patterns is crooked. I agree with the post above, if they can't run an honest online casino, you can't trust them with your money at their sportsbook. A cheat is a cheat.

An honest book simulates a random deck of cards and deals them.

That being said, I think many people throw accusations out there with no proof whatsoever.
