Evolution is pretty much a proven fact. We don't know every detail yet, but the process itself is supported with mountains of evidense.

EVERYTHING starts from SOMETHING. The big bang started from "something." That being said, I am a creationist!

Just look at the races of the humans alone .....

Who knows where and when it all started.

To me this is 1 of those theories that i really dont see what the big deal is about. What does it matter? Nothing that ive heard anything about has either evolved or been created in my lifetime....The general thought seems to be that those who believe in creation also believe in GOD but the evolutionists are non-believers.
Again this makes no sense to me . God could have used either , neither or both to form the earth. Couldnt he have made like people in creation but then made some fish or animals that could evolve as the conditions changed ?
I mean he is God he can do anything he wants. It just doesnt fit well with me that some Christians are fighting for creation just because they are Christians and feel evolution is an attack against their religion.
At the same time there are atheists who support evolution simply because they DO see it as an attack on religion....

Just seems dumb to me...

Something is fishy when you never see a debate about the TOE on TV. In fact, questioning TOE is quashed in academia as politically incorrect. TOE is practically a religion in itself. And I am not talking about classic Creationism as the only alternative. Creationism is so clearly wrong that it is used as a straw man by supporters of TOE.

DNA clearly mutates in a random fashion. I don't believe all the millions of species came about thru a random process. You never see the word "random" in any articles or TV shows on TOE. Would a trillion monkeys pounding on a trillion word processors for a trillion centuries eventually win the Noble Prize in literature. I don't think so.

I am sure God created some species directly and allowed others to evolve thru small changes in their DNA. That way, He gives atheists a hook to hang their hats on.

I do, though I don't get all the nuances and sub theories of evolution.

Species evolve into new species, both in the lab and in the wild, all the time.

Evolution makes a lot more sense than a dude popping out of the mud and his girl got plucked from his rib cage. I know some creationists believe that the fossils of early hominids were the nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels who had spiritual sex with human chicks, but I find that a little hard to believe.

Evolution and religion are not always exclusive, however.

Forgot to add that according to the Bible, Adam lived over 500 years. And that one guy was just under a thousand years when he died! Seriously, believe actually believe this!!

There are contradictory accounts of creation just in the book of Genesis alone!

So is E=mc^2

Theory means something different when used in a scientific setting. A common fallacy.

the finches on the galapagos islands? :ohno:

"In sum, the story of the Galapagos finches, claimed to represent one of the most impressive examples of evolution through natural selection, is a clear deception—but only one of hundreds of similar examples of evolutionists resorting to unscientific methods "

To get the full story of the finches, see:
