Do these forums make you smarter or simply rot your brain?

I am asking myself this question lately as i seem to probably spend more time reading these forums than i should. On one hand, I am thinking that i must be stimulating my brain a little by responding to people and typing, while on the other hand I think I may be regressing as i don't even find time to read a book lately. Just wondering if anyone feels like I do?

Forums are like TV...200 channels to watch but nothing on...

No, really, there is a ton of great info posted here everyday...you just have to 'flip' through some garbage to find it. So, if you find yourself getting stuck watching a rerun of Saturday Night Live (for the 10th time) on Comedy Central or anything on Lifetime or 'E'...just keep searching (because that $hit will rot your brain).
Eventually you'll find some mentally stimulating posts here.

Keep your 'remote' handy!

I've learned some time ago that it's not always about getting "smarter" or whatever.

Sometimes being "informed" is good enough.

This forum accomplishes that, even though often you have to read between the lines.

alot of the chatter here is useless & definately brain rotting...I come here to look for useful wagering information & often find a bunch of sissies argueing with each other...Among the 'uninformative' posts however there is alot of good information...

If you have good intentions, you can learn something on any forum on the internet. Be it about sports gambling or whatever.

These forums along with sports gambling help prevent alzheimers and any other atrophy of healthy brain cells. They help to keep an old brain active and prevent brain rot from setting in.

Both are a prescription for good brain health. I am sure of that. I intend to do clinical studies at USF to prove that sports gambling with the inherent handicapping activity that is involved, does in fact help to regenerate brain cells damaged by other addictions and old age.

Thus in the future, we will stop using this word degenerate. After my study is complete will be speaking of regenerate gamblers.

And once my findings are published in the New England Journal of Medicine, we will see computers in nursing homes, much as we do in dorms, and with at least one DonBest feed available per nursing home. Limits will be capped at $5 and we will have to block the old geezers from porn sites however.

Thus sports gambling and related activities will be shown to bring a brain with significant cell damage and atrophy back to a normal range of functioning.

I am an good example of just that. And see what you have just learned here.

Reading is one very good aspect of the forum which equals education. Lots of info passed along in forums. I vote smarter.
