Or do they suck horribly. This has to be the worst year for plate umpires in the television era

And that no swing by the Diamondbacks, might be the first time ever the third base umpire could have clearly called a strike on a right handed batter, he saw the head of the bat pointing at him

Hope they clean this up. Either that, or get rid of the fucking box, so we don't know know how bad they are

You know it's getting bizarre when they show Bruce Bochy complaining that an obvious ball was not called a strike

In his defense, there's a 50/50 chance that's called a strike, so I don't blame him

I hope not. I know if things were computerized or the "box" became the balls and strikes it would be exact but, the human element is what brings the drama and allows the sport to be natural. I hate replays and challenges in all sports. That's just my take. I am all for natural and human error even if some of the error is just terrible.
