Ive got to believe that its much healthier (financially) to remember the bad beats more than the lucky breaks.
If every gambler remembered just the bad beats, they probably would never fall to the level of degenerate. Whereas forgetting your bad-beats and remembering the wins prolongs the belief that you can beat the book in the long haul.
Speaking of which, I cannot remember my last bad beat, but I sure as hell remember last week's Bucs squeek-by on the money at +725 :-D
