Back in the 60s bridge was a very popular card game for adults. I remember my parents playing bridge and my mother was in a bridge club for many years ......but I haven't heard anyone talking about playing bridge in about 30 years.

I guess technology and devices have made cards in general obsolete ecpecially with young people , not many kids playing go fish these days.

There's a bridge club where I live. It's all geriatrics but it's thriving. They're always jammed packed. The game never had any appeal to me, maybe because you need to play with a partner.

like many things such as horse racing and bowling, bridge appeals to an older demographic.

Bowling is still going pretty strong. I don't go much, but when I do the place is always packed.
