1985, Muslims seize the Achille Lauro and kill one American.

Reagan captures the Muslim hijackers.

1986, Muslims from the Libyan embassy bomb a diso killing one American.

10 days later Reagan bombs Libya without the UN permission and without the help of Frances airspace.

Reagan wins the cold war.

1997, Iraq refuses to allow UN weapons inspections. Clintoon-Clarke-NOTHING!

1998, US emabassies in Kenya and Tanzania are bombed. Clintoon same reponse as above.

2000, the USS Cole is bombed, which was a clear act of war Clintoon and Clarke do absolutely NOTHING!

Lets not forget the sudan offered OBL on a silver platter three times and clinton declined. has the 9-11 comission asked about this. clinton has already admitted this to be a fact.

History shows us that Clarke is a complete liar. Clarke stated terror was a very high priority during Clintoons admin, well the fact show otherwise. Now we have to listen to this bullshit as the 9-11 commision tries to blame Bush. Most Americans know Bush could not have closed down airports on vague threats. Bush could not have interned all muslims on vague threats.

First off, it was 1981. Second off, Reagan committed an outright atrocity for which he should have been censured by the Republican Party, not heralded, by caving into the demands of the terrorists. And the raid was a botch job that resulted in the death of an innocent civilian, Khadafi's daughter. If an assassination attempt on the current president resulted in the inadvertant death of one of his daughters we would be calling in a nuclear strike on the country or party behind it -- but when Reagan does it, he's a hero.

Reagan did not win the Cold War. Pope John Paul II had as much to do with the unraveling of the Soviet power structure as Reagan did, but nobody has the cajones to claim he toppled the USSR (well, probably Catholics, but much like the Republicans they're forgiven their nepotism.)

The USSR collapsed in on itself as an unavoidable consequence of wide-scale socialism combined with the endless warmòngering and interventionism of the Soviet state.
