Marshall and Edwards have value if they fall far enough.

Matt Cassel will be a stud in this league. Like any QB he needs some protection although he is very mobile and will score some points with his feet. He knows how to find his receivers, a quality that surprisingly some NFL QBs do not have. He is accurate with his passes and he's got a pretty good stable of recievers in Bowe, Engram and Toomer with comers Bradley and Copper behind them.

If Thigpen could get 18 TDs I'd project 25 for Cassel. That doesn't put him in the top tier but I think he'll be a surprise top 10 QB.

Well if they drop they'll obviously have value. I'm just not comfortable drafting either one of them. Edwards had the most drops last year with 16, and just three td's. Maybe I'm just sore cuz I had him last year.
As for Cassel, I'm a big fan(pats fan)...however new system new receivers, no moss or welker, off-season pressure of being the man for the first time in his career. And name me one player that has left NE and had the same success. Bill knows how to utilize his players and put them into the right situations for success.
BTW Marshall with a suspension...like I said do not draft

Roy Williams.
LT, Jamal Lewis, Willie Parker - When RB's fall off, they fall off fast. I'll let someone else feel lucky.
Chad Johnson

I think Braylon has a bounceback season.

Jamal is someone I need to look deeper at. TMR is one of my resources and he is pro lewis. Saying Mangini likes to run inside the ten, and last year jamal had 1200 plus total yards for a team who fell on its face. Agree with the rest. Braylon well c. gl

If you get Lewis later in the draft, he has some value as a RB2. I would avoid Westbrook also. Seems like he is always nicked up. He is always the GTD also, drives you nuts.

Nobody is undraftable if they fall far enough. I don't like what Brandon Marshall is doing either but I just drafted him as my 3rd WR in the 6th round.

You are right I should have called it Overvalued players or something. I didn't mean I would never draft these players. But they would have to fall considerably from their adp.

I actually really like Braylon Edwards this year. Last year he had all the pressure on him to mimick 2007 totals. This year the expectations are low and Cleveland is going to be down in most games which means they will be throwing downfield. I think you can get some good value with Edwards if he drops to you, and I see no reason why he can't become a top 10 WR once again.

No value in taking a player who is in a bad spot. I'll let someone else find the value. Look at some of the players that had "value" the last few years:

Shaun Alexander
Edge
LJ
Chad Johnson
Harrison
Favre

I ended up taking Steve Smith (Carolina) on name recognition as our online draft (on Foxsports) was kind of rushed and got caught not ready in the 3rd round with my receiver selections .... could have had Jennings or Colston instead and screwed that one up I think .... anyone else have thoughts on Steve Smith??

I like Jennings more because of the QB.

Hey you made a mistake and ended up with Smith, could be worse. I just hate how the guy is always injured. And he's already banged up this yr. I would rather have colston or jennings for sure. I would throw some offers out there just to c if anyoine bites, if not gl!

Had my first draft tonight. Its the weakest league I'll be in I think. 6 point td league
QB Brees
WR Colston
WR Jennings
RB S Jackson
RB Mcfadden
W/R B Edwards
TE Winslow
K Elam
Def Miami
B E Royal
B Ginn
B L Johnson
B J Charles
B Sproles
B E Manning
Edwards dropped far enough where I had to take him. Had one big mistake where i got caught looking for T jones and ended up with Winslow but I expect to do well in this league.
If there are any leagues with spots open left let me know.

took edwards as my wr3. At his worst he'll give me 7-8pts a game...and at his best he will be a top ten wr. I think its a great pick that late.

Its hard for me to say who I WON'T draft, but ronnie brown is definetly over valued
