HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!

Probably should have been more like a 4-1 or 4-0 final like I predicted..................but 2-1 works out just fine.

I would like to applaud all those that had the Bolts tonight also!!!

Congrats to all those who took the Bolts. However, as a true hockey fan, we all know where the Cup belonged.

SS- Not you directly, but not many in this entire forum gave the BOLTS any chance to win it all 3 months ago.

I feel I am allowed to vent a little bit.

If it makes you feel better, I thought Calgary played their hearts out and their fans were very classy by what I could tell.

NO QUESTION HOWEVER, THE BETTER TEAM WON HERE AND LIKE I said, on this night, they were 3-4 goals better than the Flames.

that is simply false...I understand you must be overjoyed...but if you watch this game again from a neutral perspective this game could have gone either way...KIPPER didnt make any 'Stand on Your Head' Type Saves....BOLTS had 15 Shots...Bolts were better team for the First Half of game but Flames were Better for the 2nd Half & DOMINATED the third....

Of course Congratulations....However this series could have easily gone either way...as a Fan of the BOLTS you should be very VERY thankful...Yes it was earned...But by no means a Romp....

OK, I say they were 4 goals better and you say it could have gone either way.

Let compromise here and just say the BOLTS were about 2 goals better on this night.

I think that is MORE THAN FAIR on my part.

I'll give you that one one condition...one of the two goal's you speak of is an empty netter...

THE SHRINK is his own man.

Even having said that, I have never known the man to make a hockey bet in his life.

Lightning have been on fire this year:

As of Friday, the Lightning have a 47-11-4 record for 98 points and a .790 points percentage. They're 18 points clear of a very good Boston Bruins team in the Atlantic. They're 17 points ahead of the best in the West, the Calgary Flames. They're first in goals per game (3.85), which would be the fifth-highest average in the last 25 years and the highest since 1996. They're fifth in goals-against average (2.61), but are 0.02 goals per game away from being third.
They have 20 games remaining on their schedule. If we apply that points percentage to the available points remaining up for grabs, we find the Lightning capping out at around 129 points, just shy of the second-highest point total in an 82-game season by the 1995-96 Detroit Red Wings -- whose 131 points, incidentally, were one point off the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens' NHL record of 132.
