This beteros.com got my mind wandering. But forget the porno angle. Do any books offer trips/packages, or anything to certain heavy action players. Like a Vegas comp for whales? I have heard of some players visiting, and getting taken care of, by marketing. Or would they say catch part of it? Also, can you visit offshore books, not casinos? I guess it just looks like a business office? Slim or any operator? Best Wishes...OF

Gameday used to have some sort of 3 day/2 night trip for new accounts ...

I never did use it, but it was a cool promo.

Frog: Casablanca ( Tony Marsoni ), offered to send me a limo at the airport, if I came to CR to visit. I'm not sure where he would take me !

It reminds me of an Archie Bunker quote, he offered Meathead something ( forgot what ), Edith asks him, " Archie, Did you really mean that ? " He replies , something like... " Hell, No but generosity is nice, when it doesn't cost you nothin' "

I also liked Meathead's thought that Archie has nothing against charity, as long as they are self-supporting !

I suppose a book might give you a trip, if you consistently lost large sums to them, but that ain't Frog !

Seems some books offered airfare to the bash last year i think, but i think it was along the lines of small contests, not player profiles, or action....

Bruce Willis recieved a top of the line Harley as a Cristmas gift from a major offshore book a few years ago. Of course he lost over 10 million dollars that season.

I have been offered trips to Costa Rica and turned them down.

Basically, just a USA traveler.

that is unreal about willis. . and here we see pictures of bill walters in a 20 dollar sweat shirt with his arms crossed sitting on an upside down bar stool and a grin, and were supposed to think he's the man.

OF in all seriousness though, you want a book you clean out for 5 figures and then want a time share condo in Hawaii just because it happened to be their book that you took it from. I mean even in the beteros example there is tough criteria, and it isnt even that spectacular of a gift and their vig is rediculous.

A book like pinny offers what they do by cutting out costs like this.

OF..if you wish to visit an offshore book, you have to let someone high up know, in advance....and they have to know you..or of you....gotta be careful who is allowed to visit

Good books will make sure that you are treated well...staff go out of their way to make a visiting client welcome.
Many high rollers can get much more ...if they only ask...it does not hurt to ask for what you want.
Many times clients change their behavior/opinion about a book after a visit...they understand the running of the operation much better and are less likely to get angry when a problem arises.
OF if it is a high profile book...just ask

Gentlemen

Both my books..SDS..and SBT..offer trips to Costa Rica to players and agents all the time..Its an extra perk, and one that is enjoyable for the player and myself..

We look at volume, not losses..The best time of the year is Nov. 1st..thru..Feb. 15th..Thats when the weather is best, and the sportfishing is superb..

With direct flights out of NY and other major hubs, the excercise is quite manageable..Most of the time the player arrives Thurs. evening and is back in his own bed Sunday nite..

CR is becoming a hotbed lately for tourism..Most guys have a blast..

Barry,

How much action will it take to get 2 first class tickets to CR from NY, and a 2 night 3 day stay.

BOS gives you free tour to CR..
plus the carnival party they do...

BUT... at the end ,, you only are invited
to spend more money in their casino.. sleep
in the noisily san jose and be part of a photo session to promote
their own website,, i have seen no book that offer a different plan, like promoting beaches, rafting, etc... probably abcislands can offer you something like that.. SINCE THEIR BOOKS ARE BASED VERY CLOSE TO THE BEACH..
