DJax's MLB Picks 4-7-09

Hey all, I'm pretty new to the forum...been lurking for a little while gettin some solid info/picks in various sports. I wanted to start posting my MLB picks here day-by-day and see how I do. It's partly for my own tracking purposes but I welcome any discussion or advice, as well.

I don't know how I'll do as I've never consistently done MLB for a full season, which is what I'm at least setting out to do this year. Just hoping that I can win and maybe my posts will provide some help for others eventually :lol:

The plays weren't posted so I wont count them on here but I went 3-2 for approx. +1 unit today so hopefully I can have another winning day and get this season rolling correctly...GL to all

Sorry just wanted to add that I'm always risking the same amount of money (1 unit) on every bet unless I specifically state otherwise.

Example: Risk $100 to win $140 if odds are +140, Risk $100 to win $71.42 if odds are -140

Not that anybody cares...lol

Wow, I messed up when i said this... I'm gonna be doing all underdogs for 1 unit and all favorites for what is necessary to WIN one unit.

**Examples should be: Risk $100 to win $140 if odds are +140, Risk $140 to win $100 if odds are -140

Didnt matter today with all dogs but just for future reference...anyway, hopefully I can follow up the 1-0 afternoon with a 3-0 evening :toast:

Wow I didnt expect that but damnit, I'll take it! haha

I'll be back tomorrow with many of the same teams...I dont suppose anyone will be followin me at all, but just a word of warning to be safe: my plays will all be on a few certain teams I chose to follow and a few I chose to fade early on based on my preseason expectations compared to the public's perception (thought they would be solid value). So there will be some real great days immediately balance out by crappy ones, just expecting that in the end it will gimme + units. We'll see how it goes but +7 units in 9 games so far (first 4 not documented here)!
