Divisional Playoff Plays!

A losing day, going 1-2. I made a mistake not being disciplined and gave to many games as I really like my winner and tried to tell myself to only post that one. 13-5, up 12.33 units.

So far two plays NYY -147 and over 9. I'll be at the Twins game tomorrow night but just don't think they'll get it done. And, if the bullpen comes in there will be some runs scored.

I just went in to make my next play and got lucky that my under play was cancelled because I listed the pitchers and Scherzer didn't go. I'll take it.

LAD +122 is an added play.

When I heard it was Sanchez I doubled up on LA

I played Wash + 1/2 first 5 and won. But I also played the under. I only partially watched the game but Sanchez was cruising along. I dont know why they pulled him. Their relief staff got rocked. I think managers want to over think things.....most of them are not smart enough to do that.

I was surprised that Twins manager went with the rookie on the road in game two instead of letting him pitch at home. I think that was a bad decision.

I agree with MG Man and I am playing over in the Twins game for first 5 and game. Both teams score well and I just dont see it stopping today.

I also like TB +1/2 the first 5. Morton is quality pitcher who has had one good game and one bad game this year against Houston. Grienke had one bad outing against Tampa Bay. In general their have been some pretty solid teams in the playoffs that have won allot of games on the season. So they are totally capable of winning games. Tampa Bay fits this criteria of a good team and a decent pitcher.

Love the OVER once again in Twins game. Slammed the first two OVERS, thanks to my boy Gabe!!! AUTO OVER plays in this series, F5, and game OVERS all day. I hope this series continues on, for that simple reason.

Just noticed Severino has not exactly been money in the playoffs. In 2017 his playoff era was 5.62 in 4 games and gave up 5 HR, in 2018 in 2 games it was worse at 7.71, He has only 3 games this season Makes me like the over even more.

Then I looked at Odorizzi and noticed his last 10 games have all gone under the total. I guess I wont be increasing my bet but will stick to the overs.

I am not sure why they didn't pitch him on the road and Dubnok at home (veteran on the road and rookie at home).

MG I suppose you are going to be wearing pinstripes to the game tonight too!!! Luckily I know you will have had enough to drink that you wont be able to cheer for the evil empire. Who are you going with...your wife or girl friend or are you taking both of them? Or going solo like normal?

I think the Twins might come out like Tampa Bay today and you know me I would bet against the home team any time if it means making money.

I had to pass last night as Verlander was going on 3 days rest and as I mentioned earlier in this thread, it's the kiss of death but I couldn't pull the trigger on TB. I missed the St L game, too busy at work. On to Baronman's Dodger's. It's been a great series and you couldn't ask for a better pitching match up. I don't see the Dodger's losing two games at home.

MG good luck on your plays Dodgers lead 3-0 as I type.

I hate playing a -1.5 and an under. especially one as low as 7. To win both you are basically saying Washington will score two runs or less. You might want to look at a Washington team total instead. I didnt look at it but it was probably 3.5. A final score of 5-3 gets you a sweep this way. The only down side is if Washington wins 4-1 or 4-2 or 5-1 or 5-2 in those scores you lose the team total but would have won the game total. All of those scenarios didnt go as you expected.

On the flip side I dont mind playing -1.5 with an over. I also like it better when the projected total is high.

On the low scoring games I like the +1/2 on the dog in the first 5 it is usually pretty cheap.
