Playoffs 2-3

Everything I'm about to cover comes from a study of the past 10 years of the Divisional Round ('07 - '98).

- 0-40 // Home Underdogs (there were none)

- 19-20-1 ATS // HF

- 2-4-1 ATS // HF of -3' or lower (against Tenny)

- 7-12-1 ATS // No Playoffs last year; favored this year (against Car)

- 11-1 SU; 8-4 ATS // Lost both SU and ATS in last Playoff game last year; favored this year (on Tenny)

- 2-5 ATS // Any SB participant from last year who makes it to the Div Round this year (against NYG)

-39-20-2 ATS // All same season Revenging teams to reverse the outcome of the SU result of the triggering Revenge game (on Bal; on Azo; on NYG; on SDo)

- 7-13 ATS // same season Revenging team H/H (against Car)

- 3-7 ATS // same season Revenging team H/H; fav to bigger fav (against Car)

- 4-1 ATS // same season Revenging team who loses SU but covers in game to be revenged (on SDo)

- 8-2 ATS // same season three game Revenging team with this ATS pattern W/L/? (on NYG)

- 11-5 ATS // All same Division rematches to reverse last ATS outcome (on NYG)

That's all for now.

Today:

Bal/Ten Under 34
Arizona +10 (@ Car)

Back tommorow. Good luck.

Don't forget to study the research I did at the top of the thread if you're still thinking on your picks for Sunday.

Adding a little additional stuff I found while looking over the isolations.

- The dog in the Divisional Round, after yesterday, is on a 9-1 ATS run since '06, winning 6 of those 9 straight up. Beware if you're playing teasers involving favorites.

- The dog in the Philly/Giants series has covered 8 consecutive times, winning the last 6 straight up.

Since '05 San Diego is 11-2-1 ATS when lined as a dog, including 3-0 this year, winning 8 of those 11 covers straight up.

Thank you Chedda. Good luck to you.

OK. I'm ready. Gotta go shovel snow.

4-3 Playoffs

///

There is conflicting stuff re the Philly/Giants game but I'm going with Philly.
The biggest conflict is with the Revenging research I did. But as both Revenging teams won and covered yesterday I think there is room to go against those Revenging stats I compiled above. So in support of Philly we have:

- The dog in the Divisional Round is 9-1 ATS since '06.

- The dog in the Phi/NYG series is on an 8-0 ATS run.

- Philly is 10-3 ATS in their last 13 when lined as a dog.

- Lastly, only two of any of the previous year's SB participants (NYG) has gone beyond the Divisional Round over the last 10 years.

////

In support of San Diego we have the following:

-The dog in the Divisional round is now 9-1 ATS since '06.

- All same season Revenging teams are, after yesterday, 41-20-2 ATS.

- Same season Revenging teams who lose straight up but cover in the triggering Revenge game are 4-1 ATS.

- San Diego is 11-2-1 ATS since '05 when lined as a dog, including 3-0 this year.

///

Sunday's Plays:

Philadelphia +4 (@ NYG)
San Diego +6' (@ Pit)

Good luck.
