Word around the training room is that QB Matt Jones has partially torn his ACL in an FCA pickup basketball game.

Some degenerate gambler might want to use ths information to bet the UNDER on the Hog's total number of wins this season.

Great info guys. Didn't hear about that injury to the ARK QB. Always nice to hear some gossip, info before and during the college football season. Some early observations.
Ark- Have to wonder why Nutt didnt accept the Nebraska job. He has only 1 starter back on Off. That was QB Jones
KY- Might be a tough team to figure out. The defense is underrated. But the offense has a QB, that is terribly inconsistent. And a rebuilt OL. When Rollins and Huff are your best OL lineman, thats not good.
Vandy- could be a sleeper. Especially with a nice september start to the season. Huge opener for the Dores.
Ole Miss- NO Manning. Maybe no bowl game.
MSU- New coach might add some value???
ALA- Lost some close games and has some injured starters returning from 03
MD- Team on the rise. If the Fridge can find a quarterback.
WVA- Might be a sleeper top level BCS team. NOpe, the Mountainers are not a Top 10 talented type team. But the schedule favors them to make a nice run, if they can upset Maryland.
QB Marshall has talent. Creampuff schedule helps.
Indiana- Dinardo one of worst coaches in college football. How does this guy get head coaching jobs? Fired both coordinators from last year. ND transfer Lovechio very avg MAC QB playing in the Big ten.
Louisville- PASS D gave up 258 per game passing. Ouch. Welcome new DC Cassity.

You're right, it is going to be a tough year. But, Nutt's teams usually overachieve when everyone thinks they're down.
I expect them to have a winning year, despite many calls for the contrary.

Speaking of golfing ark..have you played the new course in Mountain Home? I hear it's pretty sweet.

I've got a place in Hot Springs and have played those courses in the Village many times.

I don't see how Arkansas is going to have a winning year this year. That was a ton of experience they lost.

I've never played those courses in the Village, but I hear they're all pretty nice. I usually do the track or lake when I'm there.

Arkansas could have a long, tough year. But I think Jones is good for 5 wins by himself. They've got some young talent at WR and RB that will surprise. Defense is a big question mark, especially the secondary.
I expect them to be barely over 500, but won't be surprised if we don't.

The reason they cancelled the commemeration is b/c it was a stupid idea in the first place. Although it was one of the best games ever played, why would Arkansans want to commemerate a game that they lost?
