It's true that most of the votes the GOP counts would either have increased taxes for some, or set budget targets calling for such increases.

Its stupid the way votes are held.
Just like this 700 billion vote, the main issue was the 700 billion for the credit problem but there was a bunch of other crap put into it so you can basicly say anyone who voted for the bailout voted for any one of these other things.
Same with the internet gambling ban it was put in some security bill which if you vote against people can say you support terrisiom.
You should have to vote on 1 thing so you cant hide extra stuff in a bill or try and bribe more votes.
