"Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ"

"In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

"So it is not unique to one group or one religion"... "There is a tendency in us, a simple tendency that can pervert and distort our faith."

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!

But then again, this is a slime ball who threw his own "white grandmother" under the bus to mask his own personal racism.

What a disgusting POS this guy is!

"Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ" - Muslim Kenyan POS

500 years ago, Catholic Kings lead the way and did what had to be done to protect civilization slaughtering tens of thousands of Islamist Jihadis of that time (not unlike what needs to be done today), something which obviously really burns inside this Muslim traitor.

500 years later and what has really changed?

It's still civilization vs barbarism.

Yes, they have. Who cares. I'm sure many people have crossed themselves before pulling the trigger - doesn't mean shit.

There is NO comparison to what one person may do "in the name of religion", to a violent ideology which COMMANDS ITS FOLLOWERS TO KILL NON-BELIEVERS.

Intelligence agencies all around the world have the data which proves coexistence is not in Islam's DNA. The more concentrated the Muslim population, the worse life gets for everyone else. That is an irrefutable fact the West must come to grips with if we are going to defeat this scourge.

Islam is the modern evil of our time.

The Crusaders did what they had to, and we must follow their lead. What they did has absolutely nothing to do with "doing horrible things in the name of religion", as the Kenyan alleged. face)(*^%

Libtards and their blind PC multicultural bullshit are going to get us all killed.

On a personal level, I think Islam should be banned in America and we should do everything in our power to rid the extremist throughout the world and prevent the religion from spreading. However, as a President, you can't be crazy like that. Just like Bush, Reagan, and any other President will not attack a religion like that.

Well, that's the problem right there.

Islam is NOT a religion, it's a complete system with its own religious, legal, political, economic and military components which are INCOMPATIBLE with Western civilization. There is no "Sharia" equivalent in any other religion. People need to get their heads out of asses and start facing reality - ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION.

Therefore...Islam shouldn't be protected under the First Amendment.

That's step number one.

To be precise, I'd say that it is a religion, but it is also a fascist ideology that wants to take over every country and political system in the world.

I agree with that... however, it's much easier to say on the Internet where you have no consequences, then to say it as the President of the United States. Even after 9/11, Bush didn't go down that alley. Attacking a billion peoples "religion" (or thoughts) could provide some complications and lead us down a path of serious destruction.

Ah, so then you disagree with what your Messiah said ("people have done horrible things in the name of religion" - as if THAT has anything to do with the scourge that is Islam) and that he unnecessarily smeared peaceful Christians around the world in order to justify/defend his fascist cult.

On a happier note, I was very glad to hear he's still pissed off about the Crusades - shows his true Islamic colors.

If it were only a religion, would we even be having this discussion?

I disagree with the statement from my own subjectivity, I don't disagree with him making an accurate claim that people in the past have used Christianity to do some horrific things to individuals. And I do agree that the majority of Muslims are peaceful and aren't a threat. So that comparison from an objective standpoint makes sense.

We can dislike Islam all we want, but in the real world it is considered a religion and it is something that has to be handled cautiously. I know you are not that kind of person, which is why people like you couldn't win general elections, but you have to try to be objective sometimes.

I'm just trying to clarify, because if one makes the statement "Islam is not a religion" the low information dolt out there would get confused, and not know how to process it... lol

That's the problem with liberalism (the absence of intellectual and rational analysis).

If we call Islam a religion, then it's no different than Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism and the debate becomes so watered down and distorted it is rendered meaningless - just the way the PC crowd wants it.

There are 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide. How many of them are Jihadists willing to die for their cause? Almost all Jihadists are men around 15-30 years old. So let's say 25% of Muslims. This is the kind of analysis we need to be doing.

We have the technology to deal with this problem.

What we don't have is leaders who will stand up and tell us the truth.

Well that's your problem. You create your own made up definitions and start off your arguments with an incorrect premise. You do the same thing with economics. Islam is a religion. I don't agree it's a good religion or we should classify it as an acceptable religion. It's more of a crazy ass cult, but that argument could be said about any religion.

Going after a billion people based on your disliking for them is what creates Nazi's and genocides. On the Internet I have absolutely no problems with bombing the shit out of the Middle East and not really caring about the possibility of "innocent" Muslims dying. If I were in charge I probably would have a completely different mindset which included the option of not being a tyrannical nutjob that leaves the legacy of killing and attacking a billion people. If you are capable of making those decisions with no regards to humanity, you will most likely never be elected in to office because the world is becoming more tolerant and sane.

Obama, just like the Republican presidents before him are taking the more peaceful and mature approach.

I see nothing false in what he said. It may offend some, but that doesn't make it a lie. And as a Christian, I personally am not offended.

Some of us actually like to talk about real world topics. Others like you and festeringZit are obsessed with me personally and take this way too seriously. Sheriff Joe is a loon but he will state his position, regardless of how ridiculous it is, and carry on a conversation about the topic. Even if it involves loons and libtards, and fucktards, and retards, etc.

You need to relax. You're being super uptight like zit and jdeuce.
