Ah the winter classic is here and hopefully here to stay on a yearly basis. This would be just great to bring hockey back to some sort of mainstream.
Today my pick goes to Chicago; The hawks are coming into this game after losing to the wings in their last game out, in fact they were shutout in the game. There is 2 angles i am taking at this game here, #1 the revenge angel #2 they are playing for their city in this game!!! The hawks are going to come out pumped up in this game, if they win this game they will bring their city together. Also Cristobal Huet will be in net again today and his numbers should just speak for themselves; 2.30 GAA, 0.917SV%. The hawks also don't want to lose back to back game to the 1st place team that they are right behind.

Hawks blew a 3-1 lead in that game huet was just not him self in that game. He gave up a few soft goals and that really hurt the hawks.
On to the later games!

TAMPA BAY (+180) vs WASHINGTON (-220)


Not much to say here about this one wash is the better of the 2 by A LOT. Wash is one of the top 5 in the league and TB is in the bottom 5. i don't see TB getting lucky or being good tonight. This will just be an ugly game for TB.
