PHD - What all does the 24.99/month get you? Thanks. I always buy the three major sports packages and sometimes hockey. Also, do you know if it gets ESPNU? Thanks

Ummm, (I just use it for nfl football and nhl hockey) I know baseball for sure, nba, some nascar, and some college football and basketball, and OHL hockey (because of the lockout). Might be different from where your from.

I am thinking about switching Comcast to DirectTv. Do most of you have cable or satellite?

I would think the NFL package for $200 would save me ~$1500 in bar tabs alone.

There is no better viewing pleasure than the NFL Ticket. But I find myself torn between the bar and the home. At the bar, I can watch all the games with a turn of the head. At home, I have to switch channels.

sunday ticket

Well worth it, althought you can switch from game to game and all you get is commericals, lol,....no thats not really funny. I read somewhere that directv paid the nfl $1 billion for the contract, and the nfl gets billions for it's other tv contracts. My question, fear, is that the nfl will put the sunday ticket deal up for bid when the contract is up with directv, which I believe is in 2 yrs. Who gets it is anyones guess

Right Hilo,

so back then all the AFC games on Sun. were on KU and the NFC was on CBS, which was on, I think then T1 and T2.

Ah, the days of free NFL.

NFL Ticket is a must have. But I don't like the way they jack up the price every year. Somebody has got to crack the P-4 card so we can start watching free TV again.

Amen to that Chuck. Just hope it happens soon.

I have 2 receivers hooked into the tv so i get picture in picture and a 2nd tv gives me a 3rd game to watch. Closest I can come.

What good are 4 tivos for watching live Sunday Ticket football? Unless you have multiple receivers in one room on multiple tvs then you can't see all live games that a book or a bar has.

Awesome. I keep telling my Dad to buy a couple cheapo TVs and hook'em up in his TV room, to get a similar effect.
