Great hire!! This guy should've got looks from everywhere, but was only
mentioned at UCF. Hopefully he gets Cuse to 8+ wins a year and this is another stepping stone for him...good luck, sir!

We knew it and now its official. Syracuse will improve, but I am not sure it will earn this coach a bigger job later. :think2:

I'm willing to bet on that. He is primed already for a bigger job. Would've welcomed him greatly with open arms to S. Carolina. Crazy he didn't get any attention outside of UCF and Cuse...

I was about to say he averages right at 2 years at each job, head coach or not, and successful when he leaves every time. Only concern is his age,54, which he doesn't look at all, but I don't think that stops him from pursuing something else, but it most likely head hunts him, instead...

lol at him getting 8+ wins a season in central ny. He wont make any difference at all with that program. 3-4 wins a season

Oh I agree, that's why I said "hopefully", because the guy deserves a way better job than this one. I would've stayed at BGSU, but the guy loves new jobs and greater challenges...

Im surprised he went to Syracuse- like you said, there were better jobs out there- the talent at SU is horrible and will be for years to come. Kids don't want to go to a school where its cold and snowy 3/4 of the school year- Also the Dome doesn't attract kids
