Looks like Obamacare is so wildly successful that even the morons who voted for it are squealing for more delays.

The three are Michigan's Sander Levin, the ranking Democrat on the Ways and Means Committee, and Democratic Reps. Jim McDermott of Washington, and Lloyd Doggett of Texas. All worked to help steer Obama's law through rancorous congressional debates from 2009-2010.

The lawmakers say they are concerned that many of their constituents will find out about the penalties after it's already too late for them to sign up for coverage, since open enrollment ended Sunday.

Well...Nazi Pelosi did say we have to pass it to see what's in it, right?

Tough fucking shit if your constituents "find out about the penalties." No more delays. Dims own this from top to bottom....every single word and punctuation point. Not one single R voted for this.

We are going to rapidly devolve into health care rationing, and health care even with insurance will ultimately become too fucking expensive for people...unless they have a serious illness or condition where they have no choice. All thanks to the ACA.

But again, no more delays. Let them choke on it. Eat your own dog food, you fucking cockroaches.

It gets even better:

[h=1]When They Have to Pay, ‘Liberal’ College Students Suddenly Revolt Against Obamacare-Like Health Fees[/h]
I wonder if this event will cause our soon to be graduates to think "Wow, my Marxist professor has been full of shit all these years?" Probably not.

Anyway...sorry, kids! Providing food and shelter for those who are capable, but don't feel like doing it for themselves? That don't come cheap, yanno...

Are you serious?

By design, the entirety of the additional taxes and penalties will come due AFTER the Stuttering Clusterfuck leaves office. I trust you're smart enough to understand why it was written that way. But what we're seeing today is just the beginning.

Already high deductible plans that corporations were forced to switch to are having a negative impact on healthcare. There is no other feasible outcome from this monstrosity, unless it is repealed. That's why.

I would definitely say that the quality of life and in some cases life itself will be cut short when people don't want to go to thier doctor or hospital when something "doesn't feel right" due to these high deductibles that are not affordable to a lot of the lower middle class.

I happen to have one of those "Cadillac" plans that are going to be taxed as earnings soon........I can't wait.

who cares about the penalties? There should be a penalty! I don't necessarily like all the plans but it's not all doom and gloom. the ACA has its advantages and I do think the deductibles are a bit high but you can buy other plans where they aren't but it will cost you a little more

Instead of crying and whining about Obamacare, why don't you just get a private plan?
Never been to the gov't website.
Never had to whine about it.

While I'm not a fan of the crying and whining about Obamacare, your suggestion is incredibly stupid. Obamacare affects you whether you use the exchanges or not.

It's just another form of welfare. We are gonna pay through the gov't or with higher ins rates.

Nothing you or I can do about it.
Same as any other tax, nothing we can do about it.
It's that simple.

from what I understand is the ACA is cheaper than private for about the same plan in most cases. I guess it would depend on your income

No, it really isn't that simple. There is something called repeal, and there are plenty of Americans who are on that bandwagon because they will not stand for this kind of tyrannical shit.

You're overlooking the ultimate goal of the ACA...to develop a single-payer system after all the private insurance companies are driven out of business. There is no way private companies will be able to compete with "free"...so as more and more of them close up shop, companies will just stick their employees onto the single payer system.

You remind me of a dipshit I spoke with when I lived in Germany. He and I were discussing a recent increase in their taxes and I naturally asked him at what point did he think the citizens will finally decide enough is enough. His response? "Well, I don't like paying such a high rate, but if my government has a reason to take it from me then they probably have my best interests at heart." Retard.

Feel free to add yourself to the list of Americans who have zero understanding of our founding father's intentions....which were pretty much the exact opposite of the government telling you to bend over and grab your ankles every time they feel like shoving a new form of taxes up your ass.

If it gets repealed, then no one pays because it doesn't exist anymore.

As far as the people who choose not to work...if they have their free insurance ripped away from them, then I guess they'll have to make do with other forms of free insurance like Medicaid. Or, if that isn't sufficient...then :::gasp::: go out and get a freaking job that provides you with better health insurance. Except that's where the whole "ACA will destroy private insurance" problem suddenly becomes a huge obstacle.

So many individuals have lived under this government nanny state for so long that they believe that's just how it's supposed to be. It's not.

Spend 10 mins and listen to this...it'll make the point much more clearly than I can:

people who can afford health insurance and do not get it are both stupid and part of the problem and are partly responsible for driving up health care costs

That may be true but since when does the United States of America force anyone to buy something they don’t want?

You remember, Land of the free and the home….

if you own and use a car most states make sure you have insurance. I don't think people should be forced to have health insurance and then maybe all those can make their own hospital, doctors and nurses. you have acute appendicitis but refused to purchase hc then too bad, you better learn how to use a scapel. I know what you're saying Dave but it's a service everyone will need and you won't get refused
