While it has been suggested that we'd see some sort of T-800 in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, one just had to wonder how they'd get Arnold Schwarzenegger back in front of the camera. Besides being governor of the great bankrupt state of California, the actor-gone-politician isn't exactly the perfect example of physique anymore. So maybe seeing Arnold is out of question.
Not so! The Governator himself has confirmed that he will likely appear in the installment, but won't need to act. Wha?
Schwarzenegger Digitized for Terminator Salvation
It turns out that a body-cast was made of Schwarzenegger back during the original Terminator, which provided the basis of creating a digital version of him and his T-800 model. So we will in fact see him in the film, as a living, probably not breathing, character.
Schwarzenegger viewed the resulting footage and gave his go-ahead just in time for McG to include the footage before the helmer completes his cut of the movie.
