yesterday a poster stated that all books who take a lean are gamblers and not bookmakers. The example he used was ace's gold stand they took back a few years ago for the superbowl. Comparing what ace's did to current bookmakers is apples to oranges. They (Ace')s chose the biggest gambling day on the heaviest wagering game to take a stand. Current books like pinny and Cris can take a lean on a normal rotation day as there are many other games to offset that action. On superbowl sunday if you take a lean you are setting yourself up for all or nothing thus being a gambler and not a bookmaker. Just cause you book and take a lean does not make you a gambler. More often than not their leans are correct thus making them very sharp bookmakers.

So please dont compare ace's to todays group of top tiered books.

Agent action is more responsible for a book "leaning" 1 way or another than the book wanting to gamble........
