They could honestly charge a $1,000 and it is still well worth it (IMO).

i was going to echo what a few have already said, its worth every penny, go back 10 years and compare it to now when you were forced to watch Bears vs cardinals when Dallas vs San Francisco was going on, thats just painful to think about again. I will NEVER spend another NFL season without the ability to watch whatever game i please. the way the games are scheduled, its idiotic any other way.

Same goes for the NCAA tournament, would never do it without Directv, would be a joke otherwise.

call and ask for customer retention, tell them you want to cancel it this year b/c it is too expensive, they will offer you a bunch of shit to keep it. last year I got a new HD DVR for free

Not if you have season tickets to your home town teams games. Half the season you would miss all the 1PM games, and 1/2 of the 4PM games by the time you get home.

I have to beg to differ, max.

The MLB package is the best for the price. I have watched almost every A's games this year at about $1.00 a game.

It's worth it if you dont get your favorite teams games, otherwise its a lot of money to spend for 1 time frame of games a week.

Bsically pays for itself instead of going to a bar twice. I had people over every single Sunday this past year and bassically have a open door policy for anyone to stop by. Get a lot of free boose and drugs out of it.
