I did. I bet I read this site a year before I made my 1st post. Maybe even longer. I do that on other forums right now, like a few Detroit Lions forums I go to (no laughing please). I never sign up, just read but no a lot of the posters.

I almost felt like I knew a lot of the guys here when I first started posting but they obviously didnt know me. I was sort of intimadated also by them from years of reading them or maybe cause I never had posted on a forum before I posted on here. Not even sure I really cared to post at first believe it or not. I was totally content just reading what others were discussing.

The one big thing was almost from the first day here everyone was friendly to me (so if anyone is like me not sure if they want to sign up and join in, it will be well worth it). Then I got bit by the bug and look out I got the Rx fever and couldnt stop asking questions, LOL.

I can remember a lot of the guys here from back in the day. Guys like Old Man Ted, SSI and many many others were must reads for me back in the day. I remember calling a buddy who still to this day reads only and saying hey did you see what so and so said or who so and so liked on the game tonight from over at the Rx.

Anyone else do this or did you just jump right in?

I think pretty much everyone lurks around for a while, some longer than others. And yes, it is intimidating at first, and when you're new your posts don't get much attention. But its like that for most things. Only way to become more involved is by posting and interacting with other members, after that it just becomes addicting.

I was lucky enough to have a well-known poster take me under his wing and show me around.

Its always good to have new blood come into the forum.

I was a "lurker" for about 4 months or so. I was told to check this site out for Spreadbeater, Skinsraj28, and Kojack. Prognosticator was on fire when I first registered and then he had his meltdown and all the Mighty Riggs stuff was out in the open. Crazy times.

I lurked around for a good year or so before I posted as well.

I dont post much. But I enjoy pulling up the RX every 2 days or so.

Im not much of an online betting guy. Im too conservative with money. Since the whole BOS fiasco, I havent been too confindent in the offshore climate.

I do drive up to Vegas and Laughlin often to make my bets. Especially during football season. I basically have free nights whenever I choose to go. I only have to foot the bill for gas.

The sportsbetting info and entertainment I gather from the RX is great stuff. Some great information and characters here. Always entertaining.

I am still more of a lurker than poster. Read the forums almost everyday, hardly ever post. Thinking about quitting betting sports after I meet a WR and everything that goes with it. Like Blue Edwards.

spectated for about 6 months before I jumped in and swam. In the NFL I was following Special K, Kojack, NYReb (dude was a genius!) the Rodfather, and this one cat from Hawaii that I can't remember anymore.

I read for a couple of months but got tired of Barman and his damn ACLU posts. I had to speak up...
