In Hawaii, lots of talk about these kids last few days. Watching that comeback was amazing but I really feel bad for those Louisiana pitchers that came in that last inning.

in 2005 when Hawaii won the LLWS with the dramatic walk-off HR.....

the next week I have never heard so many middle aged women that know nothing about baseball talking about home runs and rallies....

I can only assume there will be much of the same water cooler talk since these are still 11 and 12 year old kids.

I was watching it...had Hawaii and shut it off in last inning...accepted the bitter pill of defeat..went into my 5 Dimes account an hour later and saw some extra cash..I said no way..because I had tv on same channel when I shut it down I rewinded the channel using TVO...WOW what a freakin comeback with 6 runs in the last inning..The fat kid who was celebrating my loss from Louisiana was now crying..the kids so much emotion..It was a great , lucky win..wow

Yeah, I had the same thought, Buckner all over again.
Poor kid never knew where the ball was.
Unlike Buckner, that kid will carry that memory for the next, what, 65 years of his life with him.

p.s. did you see the Mexico/Japan game?
I think Brent had 50* on Mexico.
