Did the Baylor beat down of NC alter your view of the Oklahoma Clemson Playoff game?

After a Baylor team missing several key skill players beat down NC, opinions on the Oklahoma Clemson match-up seem to have been altered and the line reversed direction. The line is going up on Oklahoma once again.
Has the Baylor/NC result influenced, altered, changed your view of the Oklahoma Clemson match-up?

Can't overreact to one game although sometimes human nature will make you hyperfocus on the most recent result. Baylor lost to Texas and that result contributed to the major line move and overreaction towards UNC. UNC's defense has never been top tier and tonight they were absolutely pathetic after a 3 week layoff from competition. Not the first time something like this has happened in bowl play. For me, it has nothing to do with Thursday's game. I still like Clemson.

I agree completely. Let's not forget that when UNC played Clemson there was talk about them making playoffs if they could find a way to win. If that doesn't give you a little extra motivation to play at your top tier then I'm not sure what would. It's still Clemson or nothing for me, depending on who some of my favorite cappers are on here at the rx.

At the risk of inciting another "internet riot," I'll chime in. Clemson will be without their No. 2 receiver. He and two other team mates tested positive for drugs, which, the paper didn't say. Hence, the line move. Personally, I was on OU from the get-go, this just adds a little fuel to the fire. GLTA and Happy New Year!

It shouldn't as Clemson is a much, much better team than UNC.

Look at UNC's rush defense coming into the game, they were #121 allowing 247 ypg. It was a no-brainer game plan for Briles. A much more informative barometer of the ACC will be how NC State plays today, IMO.

While I agree, you can't overreact, I don't think you can place a lot of blame on Baylor losing to Texas. A week after the TCU game, and also Baylor played a guy at QB that literally was working out at WR all year. Texas knew he couldn't throw it, and Texas defense came up and stacked the box and was decent against the run this year. Baylor was never going to win it all with their defense, but they were a damn good team before the injuries (god I can't believe I just said that about those cocksuckers).

Now the Texas-OU game I will give you. But at the same time, it was a rivalry game and OSU lost to a shit sack team last year as well.

In the end, it's hard to compare teams versus common opponents or do the this team played that team, so this team is better scenarios, so it probably wouldn't change my view. If you were on Clemson before, there was a reason. And that shouldn't change because of one game...

I have OU beat Clemson and beating Ala in the Championship. I also have OU beat the Ariz Cardinals 24-21 in the Super Bowl.

No because I had Baylor as a top 4 team before losing their top 2 qbs. Those injuries kept Baylor from playoffs.

I think Sooners are the more talented team but if any coach can find a way to shit the bed it is Stoops. Big game Bob...:):)

No it doesn't change.....even with 3 Clemson players sent home doesn't change my mind. It seems when its highly publicized about bowl teams have a lot of players out, those trams rend to win or cover. Seen it year after year.......

People were saying for 2 weeks how Baylor doesn't have a Qb & other starting players......with all the money pouring in on UNC that switched the line from +3 to -3......makes you think if these games are controlled by Vegas or whomever because of all the money influencing these games.

All of a sudden UNC had no defense yesterday after a really good year.....its no coincidence.

Remember several years ago, in 2007 when Florida St had like 15 or more starters suspended in the bowl game vs Kentucky? Yes, the spread opened like Kentucky -10 & closed Kentucky -8........Kentucky won 35-28, by 7.........& everyone & their mother was on Kentucky thinking no way Fla St can cover this game.......these bowl games are very shady & when the public is on one side, 9 out of 10 times, the other will cover.

I still want to see if ESPN & everyone else hypes up the problems Clemson is having........

i like Oklahoma tomorrow. Was really surprised by the UNC beatdown and then watching NCST get beatdown as well. Maybe that bodes well for my UH play (points and ML). It was how UNC was beaten, giving up over 600yd on the ground. Not even Navy or Ga Southern does that type of damage. Wishbone teams against low level FCS teams dont even put of that many yards on the ground. UNC gave up and has no heart
