He is reaching his innings limit the yankees give all young pitchers so they are limiting him to a few innings each start for the next few weeks.


Originally they had him starting once every 10 days but he was not doing well so they are keeping him going every 5th day, but only a few innings.

they are quickly or slowly (pending on how u look at it)ruining this guy...what is he about 6' 230....and they treat him like he is 5'4'' 160

They are building him up. They dont want a huge jump in innings from year to year. They need him in the playoffs so they dont want him worn down.

Girardi has shown this year he has no problem letting guys throw 120+ pitches, joba will be like that next year.
