John I appreciate your concern. The situation with Noreaga was he was warned and banned for a week and allowed to return. Then the other night he semed to try to get himself banned. I moved a thread of his and his response was pretty nasty. Another mod had posted some insults he posted about regular posters. At one time or another all the mods had some sort of edit or thread move of his. Another website has also had it with him. He is the only regular permanately banned poster (except ghosts) in several months. We have about 100 banned posters out of 20,000 registrations. Most are one post flamers with names like wetbitchesrock etc. No one likes to ban anyone and in this case the there was a carefully writtten thread with copies of several posts as examples of some of Norega's posting. I personally have recieved half a dozen personal EMs from posters complaining about abuse. We get around a dozen new registrations a day and have to try and keep out ghosts (no easy job) Noreaga bacame way to high a maintenance poster for his own good. Not a day seemed to go by without some issue arising concerning him. BTW. it was not me who recommended the vote to begin with. The moderators here are just trying to keep the peace and despite what some may think do not hold grudges against any individual posters.

Thanks Wil, It's too bad that a few long time posters do seem to freak out once in a while. Maybe they get tired and really want to retire anyway.
As for JJ, I would trade the good for the bad. I doubt I'm the only one who now follows his comedy routine at MW.
Lastly, Pat Mc started the routine of following all of Shrinks posts with a "Great post Ken". Man that too me is brown nose ugly. Pat justified it as we are all on the same team. I never agreed, all of you were posters once and should speak your mind.

i like noreaga. but i think hes a buster. straight buster. every time he says something i say "did i hear something? sounds like the buster is complaining again." honestly though i hoped he could have put his differences aside with wil becuase i always like the everyday gambler.

arty:John speaking of Ken's posts I hardly ever post in his threads much. I made a post tonight in the Mansion thread (my only one in that long thread) and I have no problem saying thanks if he happens to post a winner and I make a little money on it. Natrually we both could end up posting in the same thread but it is NEVER coordinated or agreeing with each other on purpose. The normal sorry to hear when someoone dies threads, or the congrats to a poster that makes a score thread are just part of moderating, once in a while one of those type of threads will be started by Shrink or General who I also try not to follow around just to say nice thread or how true etc.. As far as JJ goes to be honest him and I got along fine although we didn't have much give and take. I have never talked to him in any way - phone, IM, or E-mail. His problem is what happens behind the scenes after a problem occurs on the forum. Things get said to management that are hard to explain never mind forgive and forget. In other words he burns his own bridges behind him once he feels slighted. I thnk you know what I mean harmless but profane internet tuff guy smack down. His banning was totally different from Noreaga, a bettter term for JJ's departure would be excommunication for blasphemy (so I hear). The mods had no vote with JJ as far as I know.
