Did Izzo really think he could beat Carolina at their own game...

As good a coach he is, his game plan tonight is about as piss poor bad as any I have ever seen...

If he wanted to give his team a chance you slow the game down as slow as possible and go half court. If you think you are going to run n' gun and beat Carolina you are an idiot...

In NC four losses the totals have been 160, 181, 173 and 143. NC does a great job of dictating pace and they are shooting lights out. Combine that with State's turnovers and you have a blowout. Even if State walks the ball up the floor NC's defense is forcing them to play quick. I'm not sure it would have mattered what MSU's gameplan was tonight, but I'm pretty sure Izzo's won more games than anybody on here.

Tom Izzo has played in s Final Four Game, thats pretty impressive considering the length of time he has been there

Carolina would beat any team in the country tonight. Sometimes the other team is just better and tonight N.C. is better by leaps and bounds. N.C. is fantastic at getting the game to their speed. N.C.'s defense is very underrated. Izzo is a great coach, you don't get to this many final fours because you don't know how to coach

The idea is to put your team into the best possible position to WIN the game...

Trying to outscore UNC is not putting your team in the best position to win, sorry...

They do not play run n' gun, it is not their strength...

Carolina just hit them with their best game and N.C. is obviously the more talented team. When the best play their best, it really doesn't matter what the other side does. Carolina knows how to speed teams up. I really don't think MSU has been sped up too much, but Carolina's defense is just outstanding, which has created a lot of misses which has led to a lot of fast breaks. Carolina just on the top of their game, making this very one sided
